Wow, I can't believe that my last update here was ONE YEAR ago. Damn, I'm lazy... Well, quite a lot have happened since last time, that's for sure! Quick catch up: I went to Solskogen and entered the demo compo with Koneko. It placed 5th in the compo, and lately it got nominated for the breakthrough performance award at Scene.org awards! Didn't win though, but still :D Then I went to Kindergarden and participated in the graphics compo and photo compo. Check the scene page to see the entries.

This easter I went to The Gathering as usual. And what a party it was :D This year creativity was in focus, and the crew had created a big lounge in the hall called "The Creative Lounge". People with creative tickets could sit together and share knowledge. We even had our own little stage where lots of seminars took place. As for the competitions, I participated in 5 compos. That's a new record :D I even took 1st place in freestyle graphics :D bitFlavour participated in the fast intro compo again, too. It got very rushed this year, as I was stressed out by Flipside disappearing, leaving us with a 25 second soundtrack XD Wic did an awesome job doing the graphics, as usual :)

All in all, this easter was very exhausting but extremely fun :D I can't wait to go to Solskogen this summer :3

Back in Trondheim after my long and very exciting Easter vacation! I started my vacation by going to Japan for one week. It was super awesome. I need to go back there one day :) The day after I came home from Japan, I went to my cousin's baby's baptism in Sarpsborg. It was a 3,5 hours drive, and I think I slept most of the time :P Suffering from a small jet lag. It was so nice to see the baby for the first time! She is a real cutie :) We went back home the same day, and the following day I met some more family and friends. Tuesday before The Gathering I finally had some time to finish my entry for the freestyle graphics compo at TG :)

This year I worked as a mentor at TG, learning newbies to do some graphics and answering questions that they asked me. It was really fun :D I sat in the workshop area during the whole party and enjoyed it to the max. I even got some time to do a fast intro this year :) It was even funnier than I imagined it to be! I coded the thing, Wictoria did the graphics I commanded her to do and we got permission to use one of Ivar's songs :) It turned out OK, and we even won the compo XD Haha!

Now it's back to school, doing projects and other assigments... Maybe do some reading for my exams too :P I'm so looking forward to Solskogen now! See you all there :D

We went to Kindergarden this weekend, and I had tons of fun :) It was a bit cold (not a big surprise as we're in the middle of November) and it was a bit of a long walk to take a shower, but apart from that I have no complaints! Great atmosphere, great people and great compos :) I participated in the pixeled graphics compo and in the photo compo. Placed 2nd in both of them :) Beaten by the talented farfar in both of them ;) Anders and friends participated in the demo compo with this and won the compo! :D

All in all it was a great party, and I want to go next year too. It was worth missing out some reading-for-exams-time for this! So now it's time to bury myself in some books, because it's only 16 days until my first exam... O_o Help!
