Easter 2009

Back in Trondheim after my long and very exciting Easter vacation! I started my vacation by going to Japan for one week. It was super awesome. I need to go back there one day :) The day after I came home from Japan, I went to my cousin's baby's baptism in Sarpsborg. It was a 3,5 hours drive, and I think I slept most of the time :P Suffering from a small jet lag. It was so nice to see the baby for the first time! She is a real cutie :) We went back home the same day, and the following day I met some more family and friends. Tuesday before The Gathering I finally had some time to finish my entry for the freestyle graphics compo at TG :)

This year I worked as a mentor at TG, learning newbies to do some graphics and answering questions that they asked me. It was really fun :D I sat in the workshop area during the whole party and enjoyed it to the max. I even got some time to do a fast intro this year :) It was even funnier than I imagined it to be! I coded the thing, Wictoria did the graphics I commanded her to do and we got permission to use one of Ivar's songs :) It turned out OK, and we even won the compo XD Haha!

Now it's back to school, doing projects and other assigments... Maybe do some reading for my exams too :P I'm so looking forward to Solskogen now! See you all there :D

Kindergarden 2008

We went to Kindergarden this weekend, and I had tons of fun :) It was a bit cold (not a big surprise as we're in the middle of November) and it was a bit of a long walk to take a shower, but apart from that I have no complaints! Great atmosphere, great people and great compos :) I participated in the pixeled graphics compo and in the photo compo. Placed 2nd in both of them :) Beaten by the talented farfar in both of them ;) Anders and friends participated in the demo compo with this and won the compo! :D

All in all it was a great party, and I want to go next year too. It was worth missing out some reading-for-exams-time for this! So now it's time to bury myself in some books, because it's only 16 days until my first exam... O_o Help!

It's decided!

My class is going to Tokyo, Japan in the easter of 2009! I'm so excited :D Now I'm going to practice some Japanese for the trip! ^_^

Pencil case

I bought a new pencil case today ^^ It was so cute that I had to share it here :P On one side (the top picture) it says: "What are these?" and on the other side it says: "This is a cat and a fish". Tehee! It's in some other versions too, i.e. a tiger and a lion, a cat and a dog ++. Kawaii! Looking forward to use it this semester XD Oh, and I bought a wallet (in the same style with just a cat on it) too x) Okey, enough childishness for today!

Version 1.9

Yes, final touches are done :) I now declare zeila.makt.net version 1.9 opened :P I used this font to make my design! :D

New design

New design is up and running! It still lacks some things here and there, but it will be complete in a couple of days or so :) Now it's waaaaay past bedtime for me! -__-

Summer and Solskogen

Hi again! :) I'm not completely dead.. Just lazy updating and stuff.. I'm now in my late summer vacation, starting to see the end of summer. It's been a pretty nice summer, though :) After my spring exams we went rafting on the Nidelva in a tiny little rubberboat that we bought in our local toystore.. XD It was so much fun that we had to do it again a couple of days later! We will definitely make this our "after-spring-exams"-tradition!

The 8th of June I traveled by train back to my hometown to work for 4 weeks. Pretty boring work, packing things from one box to another, but it was well paid :) So the 4th of July I went back up to Trondheim again. The weather was pretty terrible for 2 weeks or so... Just rain and cold weather >_>

At the 18th of July Anders and I drove down to Ås to join this years Solskogen! It was a great party! It got a bit rainy though, but that didn't stop people from partying :) I participated in the newschool gfx compo this year, with this. I placed 3rd. Anders and Gargaj participated with a 4k and placed 1st! :D It was fun to watch them make it at the party :)

After Solskogen, me and Anders went to Porsgrunn, and I stayed until friday. It was very cozy to be at his family's cabin near the sea. We had very nice weather, and I was able to take my first outdoor bath this year :P

Now I'm back in Trondheim, all alone in my house atm! :o And it's so HOT! ~ATSUIII~ XoX Well, I should enjoy it while I can :P The rain will come soon enough to Trondheim! Oh and I will try to make a new web design soon! This one has been here for a while now >_> Enjoy your last bit of summer :) I will! School starts the 18th of August! (My schedule this semester)

The Gathering 2008

Hello people! It's been 4 months since last update O_o Long time, no see! The Gathering ended this Sunday, and I had a good time :) I sat on the demoscene row this year too, and participated in the following compos: freestyle graphics, themed graphics and combined demo. My very first demo released at TG this year! :) Me and flipside made the group bitFlavour and the demo itself was named bitamins. To download and watch bitamins, click here. We placed 4th in the compo :) In the graphics compos, I placed 1st in themed graphics (view entry) and 6th in freestyle graphics (view entry).

Now I'm going to enjoy my two last days of easter! You should too ;)
